ADI Lockable Caps

Established in 1975 ADI Security Products was born on the South Coast of New South Wales, in the small coastal town of Gerringong. The brain child of Brian and Peter Preddey, both locksmiths by trade, ADI made a name for itself as innovators of niche locking solutions. Chief among these was the Preddey Bolt, now known as the ADI Bolt, which is still the go-to choice for securing shop fronts, warehouse and storage facilities.

In 2015 the ADI Security Products was acquired from the Bob Stewart by LSC – the largest security wholesaler in Australia. LSC has continues to produce ADI Security Products on Australia soil, with product assembly now taking place in Brookyln, Victoria.

Innovation remains at the heart of ADI. That’s why, in 2012 ADI released the Lockable Cap. The first of its kind, the Lockable Cap can be used to secure PVC pipe that has been attached to a van, caravan or camper van. Such pipes are commonly used to carry tent poles, annex poles and fishing rods by holiday makers as well as copper pipe and electrical conduit by plumbers and electricians. Available in a range of cap sizes, there are also a number of accessories available including brackets and lanyards to ensure your goods are secured safely.

ADI remains committed to developing locking solutions to suit the Australian market. And we’re proud to say our products are Australian owned and made.
